CHANGES OF OWNERSHIP:

1751 - the concession was renewed providing D'Arrigrand fulfill his promises within
6 years.

1766 - the British granted D'Arrigrand 20,000 acres in same area.

DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY:

Some of D'Arrigrand's correspondence seems to indicate that his concession extended southward to the harbour, encompassing all the land on both sides of the stream which emptied into the Barachois Pledien or De Gene. If this were the case, his concession would have superceded those previously granted in this area.
