Given privilege of keeping a boat to ferry people across the barachois to Lasson's property.

CHANGES OF OWNERSHIP: 

pre-1738 - Romain died leaving property in hands of wife
1738 - Veuve Romain married Louis Salmon

DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY: 

1738 

- two houses joined together measuring 67 pieds x 19 pieds. Half the building two-storey. Roof planked. Living quarters consisted of a main room, two other rooms and a cabinet.
- Garden 13 toises x 11 toises
Salmon described as an innkeeper.

OTHER INFORMATION: 

1739 

- Salmon rented property to Pierre Herpin for 6 years at 350 livres a year. In addition Herpin was
obliged to roof the house and build three cabinets and a room at the west end of the house.
