SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1724 ordinance required a passage 2 pieds wide and 21 pieds long between this and property to west in order to allow access to vigneaux
CHANGES OF OWNERSHIP:
c.1728 - Perré died leaving property in hands of widow
1735 - Veuve Perré - dead
1736 - property purchased by Martin Benoist, Veuve Perrs son-in-law, from the estate for 3,000 livres
c.1744 - Benoist died leaving property in hands of widow, Jeanne Perré
DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY:
Fishing property with vigneaux and chafaud.
House
- 1735 - 2 cabinets, one large room, kitchen and attic
- 1741 - built of timber, shingled, with double chimney. Measured 48 pieds x 25 pieds
Storehouse
- 1735 - adjoined house
- 1741 - 29 pieds x 25 pieds
Cabanes
- 1735 - two, adjoining house
OTHER INFORMATION:
Too close to fortifications. House demolished sometime between 1741 and 1744. Benoist awarded 1,000 livres compensation. Building materials sold by Veuve Benoist for 200 livres.
