Cape Breton University Statement on the Louisbourg Institute

Established in February 1995 with a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Fortress of Louisbourg and UCCB (Now Cape Breton University), the Louisbourg Institute facilitates collaboration between both institutions on mutually beneficial projects that use the strengths and resources of both organizations

The Mandate of the Louisbourg Institute Web Site

  • To make available to the public the informational resources of the Fortress of Louisbourg,  National Historic Site. 
      

  • To provide general information on  Parks Canada, Cape Breton Region. 
     

  • To promote the goals of  the University College of Cape Breton (Cape Breton University - 2005)
